Hangar 9 was born out of a simple frustration — there wasn't a secure, well-maintained place in Philomath to store an RV or boat. So we built one.
Why We Built Hangar 9
We're outdoor people. Camping trips up the McKenzie, fishing on the Willamette, weekends in the Coast Range — this part of Oregon is made for adventure, and we wanted a storage facility that matched that lifestyle.
When the opportunity came to purchase this facility, we jumped on it — after struggling to find a decent place to store our own camp trailer, we knew exactly what was missing. A secure, well-run storage option right here in Philomath, run by people who actually cared.
Every decision we've made — the full electricity in every indoor unit, the onsite dump station, the 24/7 access — came from asking ourselves what we'd want as tenants. That's still how we run things today.
